“Dedicated about creating forms that reflect my inner demons, I have devoted my ability to construct personal symbolism through the use of mixed-media. By generating identities that form metaphorical representations of the human connection to personal imagery and universal aesthetics ... I want to create a cohesive flux that forms a contradicting compliment to the symbolism my *body of work* will convey”

“My artwork has stemmed into a space of desires and their complexities within the realm of “actuality”. I challenge the concept of societal pressures with my earlier struggles of my sexual orientation and the discovery of my gender identity. With the use of my body as a tool of art; I pay homage to the fluidity of visual symbolism within systemic pressures. My exploration of performative and illustrative art has given me the chance to formulate a space of physical language that eludes the symbolism of suppressed mentalities. I generate a space that shines a light on the repercussions of gender normalities through the use of a satellite in my performances and my body in my illustrations. I lead my work into a clash of façades and actions to formulate a debate of outcomes versus journeys by engaging the idea of when and where art is interpreted. With the intentions of liberating the pressures of systemic perspectives, each piece designs itself into a platform that discusses one’s individuality. My artwork attempts to resew the foundation of acceptance through challenging the concepts of identity, communality, agony, and systemic oppressions.”

“My artwork reflects my trans identity by generating a body of work that speaks to the repercussions of systemic oppression of outward appearances, perspectives, and gender inequalities. As time passed, my work matured within the pressure of these concepts through the birth of my gender identity and the release of my dead name. I use color theory symbolism to challenge the concept of gender by engaging the viewer through art as a form of information and mutuality.
With these true intentions and new found routes, my work evolved into into a space that accepts the facade I carried for so long by countering it within the realities of symbolism. I carefully and sympathetically approach these realties through performative and illustrative art by showcasing my physical body as a space of healing and growth.”
